It all depends on where he wants to go with the trailer... We could spin in circles all day with a gas verse diesel debate... lol

In the end of the day I would strongly suggest a 3/4 to 1 ton tow rig for that trailer. I have a Dodge 3500 and I pull a 31' Keystone Bunkhouse. I had to upgrade the truck with an aftermarket rear swaybar and rear Timbren load supports to get it to pull the way I wanted it to. The rear sway bar helped with the trailer not pulling to the side everytime a semi was next to me and the Timbrens helped the rear of the truck from bouncing everytime we hit a bump in the road.
