Looking for a good range finder
Iv been looking at a nikon iv heard some good things about them but any one have real world exp with good range finders?
Assuming you're going to be going somewhat low end (No Leica's, Zeiss, or Swarovski) Nikons are great. I would take one over the comparable priced Leupolds because of the reticle they use. Its more bold, and most of them will turn red against a darker background. Leupolds have a very fine reticle, and it can be hard to see.
If you're thinking of spending around $400 or more even, I would buy the Leupold RX-1000 TBR without a second thought. Great unit, and one of the best sellers we carry.
