The sick and elderly already have government programs to help them out. The 35 million people referenced are ones making choices in their lives to not get health insurance. If they do not see their health as a priority, why should the tax payers?
Those old folks should have planned better and had jobs that would provide them lifetime insurance even after they were retired. If they didn't see their future health as a priority, why should the tax payers?
