Before we had our son we had this discussion. if she worked after paying for sitter, gas back and forth ect we would net like 100.00 or so a week. Since I work a goofy schedule, trying to keep our scheduling straight, her working, and knowing somebody else was raising our son we decided it wasn't worth it.
Since then, things have become quite a bit tighter, but, she loves it, our son is progressing quite fast with developmental mile stones,the house is clean, meals are home made and prepared for me, the kid has a constant person to mold and shape him as a person. Win win.
