I would just stay with the factory ratio. Factory valve sprigs don't like having to move a lot. The cam if its just a little bigger will be good enough. Plus if you don't know about the cam the lift might be too big for the 1.6. Factory sbc springs are only good for about .550 lift. More than that and they might bottom out. So mild cam plus increased ratio might blow out your lifters, bend a pushrod, mess up the valves, or break another rocker. 1.5 roller tip rockers and your golden. I would pull out the pushrods and make sure they are all straight too.
