If I was driving a commercial truck with over a 10,000 gvw I would have to stop at every weigh station while on the clock. As I understand it you only have to stop with a personal vehicle is if you are making money with what you are hauling such as a race car that you win cash with.
I see big trucks roll past. I never stop with the 3/4 or the 1 ton hauling for work. I thought they were exempt. Seems like it could be real dicey if you were hauling toys with a "possible" purse. If you go through and aren't required is that a ticket too? I would guess with the police for profit system we have it would be.
