This is not the first time Howard Meyerson has written an article about offroaders causing damage on public lands. I'm surprised he actually has a little titbit about the majority of offroaders, "even though the organized ORV community has contributed positively to various public education efforts that target illegal riding". Maybe he learned to know his facts after the last time he wrote and had half the 'facts' wrong and got an earfull.
There will always be the few that wreck things for the majority that follow the rules and appreciate what is out there without destroying. I also think this is done by locals that live in that area. I think they are pointing to out-of-state people without proof.
