Welded with one locked is dumb.

You only get power to that one side so it will always pull that direction.

Locked, without it being selectable on the front, isn't good for street driving.


You didn't really state what you are trying to do, i had to take a guess that you want to drive it on the street since you are talking about leaving one unlocked.
