This engine started life in a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was retired at only 170k miles due to transmission failure. The rebuilder was shocked at the mileage as it still had hone marks and was never rebuilt prior. The rebuilder is a retired engine builder that used to rebuild engines for a local racing team.
The engine has the stock bore diameter, new timing set, new oil pump and the following performance parts:
- Hughes Engines HER0814AL Camshaft 0.512/208 0.520/214 114 sep
- Hughes Engines Lifters
- Hughes Engines 120# Damped Valve Springs
- Hughes Engines Pushrods
- Hughes Engines Retainers
- Hughes Engines Stainless Steel 1.6 Roller Rockers
I have receipts for ALL parts and labor along with a work log of the rebuild from the builder. Custom built engine stand included.
Parts - $1578.33, Labor - $815.00, Total - $2393.33
Hughes Engines Desktop Dyno estimates this engine at just over 400 HP and torque when using MPFI and a single-plane intake. This would make a GREAT engine for any Mopar retro-rod or use a dual plane and throw it on your 4WD Dodge, Jeep, etc. This was built for a retr-rod 1973 Charger project that I lost interest in so it includes a brand new Summit Racing LA oil pan. I also have all of the EFI components off of the 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee including the ECM and wiring harness. It is an OBDI ECM, so it does not matter if you run automatic or manual transmission. There is a guy in Ohio that will make a street rod harness with any trunk length from the existing harness for only $250 if you want to run EFI. Those parts available at a negotiable price is interested.
Asking $2000 OBO
