The only thing that irritates me about the truck is the AWD. If I need 4wd, let me pull a lever to do it. I don't need the truck to do it for me. All of the new GC's I drove had the same thing. I understand it's a soccer mom ride, but let the driver decide what to do.

if the AWD bothers you....why did you buy an AWD model? They are offered without it you know
I agree tho' I don't like the AWD mode. Its okay on my Suburban(autotrac) and Grand(select trac) becuase that is just a setting on the transfer case....both still have 2wd mode. I had an explorer that was AWD didn't like it. It was slow to engage and clunk loudly everytime it did. Plus like you said it was hard to donuts with it:tonka:
