I have had the same Chicago cutlery knives for the past 5 years. I run them threw the dishwasher and they still cut like a knife. All straight edges so they are simple to sharpen.
Ceramic knives are and stay fucking sharp. They were also $$$$ back when I was in highschool 11 years ago working in a kitchen shop.
