We got a big set of Henckels knives for our a wedding gift, like $400 worth of knives. Everybody said those or Wusthoff were the best. We used them for year, and so as you keep them sharp, they work fine, but they are heavy.

We recently picked up some Kuhn Rikon knives cheap at TJ Maxx and we both LOVE them. They are very light, comfortable to hold, super sharp, easy to sharpen, and best of all CHEAP, like $5 each. I'm probably going to sell them Henckels knives and just use these from now on.
