Do you have a regulator in the system now? If not you definatly need one. Pick a quality adjustabe one and plumb it in. I think 7-8 psi would be a good starting point, I've heard old timer jeeper used them and dialed down to 3-4 psi in the rocks to keep from flooding out on extreme angles.

Sandals, where did you mount your regulator, under the hood or the under side, along the frame?
I picked up a Holly 12-803 adjustable/ 4 1/2 to 9 pds.
