I am in complete agreement with you. I have experience with custom single action revolvers and they can be VERY dangerous. You let your focus slip for one second with one in your hand and a round goes downrange. That still doesn't make it the pistols fault and you more than acknowledged that. I'm willing to bet that you never had it happen again after that first time.
