It will work but you will need to use a crank spacer to support the converter pilot. In 99 they changed the bell housing, pump stator, and torque converters. If it was my truck, I would find a 2001 and up trans.

1995 4l60Es are 1 year only 2-3 downshift electronics and valve bodies. You will need a trans from a 95 only.
