Quick rockwell air locker question.
Rockwell 900 series air locker chuck in a 800 series axle using 800 series tubes, bearings, hubs and so on. The axle shafts would be made so the double splines are enlarged at the locker area to mate with the 900 series "7 ton" chuck.
Seems this would have been done before as a "easy" way to get a 5 ton locker. Figured I would ask the stupid question here before I started calling up people.
Any issues with doing this?
