Stock tires, lift, and gears? The claim of 26 made above was my truck it did get 26 mpg as a best was typically around 23-24 on the highway all hand calculated by filling the tank all the way to the top of the tank and figuring miles travelled by gallons used. The sweet spot was 2000 rpm any higher and fuel economy would drop by 2-3 mpg. I typically got 15.5-16mpg pulling my 5th wheel trailer but once saw a best of 17.5 with the Jody Tipton (DP Tuner) 80 hp economy tune. Ford ruined that though with the CPS (cam position sensor) recall the new one hasn't failed yet but we lost 4 mpg consistently. Maybe he should go back to the DT466 cps I had installed in it.
