the filet was easily cut with a dull butter knife, decent flavor and it melted. the shrimp was outstanding, as were the aforementioned potatoes (one of their specialties)

the vegetables were somewhat forgettable, and so too was the appetizer now that I think about it - but we had drinks at the boss' house first, and she makes them pretty stiff. in fact my wife who normally doesn't drink at all felt a bit woozy after just one cosmo made by my boss so that early burning sensation on the palate and stomach may have influenced my memory of the veggies and the appetizer (or was there two appetizers? )


regardless I did not feel like I was hungry still after eating, despite it being only the petite filet.

the tip on the bar/burgers is courtesy of my boss - she lives in Birmingham and is frequently there during "happy hour" on Friday's just for that more affordable burger entree menu
