I have my own tank. I get minimum fill, 200 gallons had it filled in spring of last year. The time before that was 06 before getting ODB.
I previously had a wood stove, for house and one it pole barn.
I don't remember propane costs but less then $1.75 last fill.
I get a discount for owning my tank and paying cash. The propane company I deal with will contact me with their lowest price offer.
Yes i could cut more. I have an older washer and electric dryer in my pole barn.I could winterized pole barn and shut off motion lights and cut more. But I'm in my pole barn a lot.
My point was the power company gets money by raising the cost of providing electric. I think it was like 5 dollars when i moved here ,now they want 32.21. Rate right now is 18.28.
