Iím giving you shit because it is more than likely a 90's something wrecked sub $2000 Michigan Jeep and you are worried about the plastic door plate.

Anyways the plastic plate is only bent because your door sill is bent up. Simply remove the sill plate (4 visible screws) and pound the door sill back flat or at least until the door closes. Then readjust the door latch until the door closes and locks easily. Then reattach your sill plate and carry on with your day.

Or if it breaks and you can't find one in a junk yard or if you canít get it flat enough to close the door with the plate on, do this
