I had a 92 Range Rover County LWV for a few months back around 2001 or 2002. I got rid of it because I was still in the Marines and suddenly got orders and didn't feel like dragging multiple vehicles around.

I cannot imagine there was too much difference between the 89s and the 92s. Mine had the air suspension but it was totally inactive. I didn't keep the vehicle long enough to figure out if it was worth fixing. All of the front wheel bearings on mine seemed to disintegrate at about the same time a few weeks after I got it. The gas mileage was absolutely horrible too. It was worse than my Grand Wagoneer.

On the plus side, the interior was huge and very comfortable and the driver's seat had a nice high vantage point. I liked driving it more than my Grand Wagoneer, but it was definitely not refined like you would expect a Range Rover to be.
