But as a homeowner who uses my stuff "somewhat frequently" I don't use it often enough to go through the hassle of always charging batteries, or leaving them plugged in (don't use often enough) etc. So I buy stuff with chords. I do have a chordless drill for the light duty stuff where a fully juiced battery isn't 100% necessary.....
If I was a contractor though It would make sense to just throw all my batteries on a charger everynight.
For the last year or so, this had been my main thinking as well.
