Default Cordless power tools, which ones don't bring the suck?

Normally I'd just buy the 18V dewalt and move on with life but I know not everyone on the GL4x4 sits in an office all day so I'll ask.

Use:
Misc house projects and working on car/jeep. I won't be building houses with these but I don't want to be replacing shit annually either. I will be finishing out my basement and finishing the inside of a shop in the next couple yrs.

Prefered:
1/2in drill
1/2in impact
sawzall

optional
1/4in impact
circular saw
4 1/" angle grinder

What say you GL4x4, 20V LI, 18V traditional, Milwaukee, Hitachi, Dewalt, Bosch, Black and decker?

Not afraid to spend monies if it's for better product. Best tool/$ is what I'm after.
