With my driveway setup I need the most steering I can get maneuvering the boat.
I have never noticed much of a difference when I drove my brothers trucks. He has a crew cab short box and a reg cab, they were all better than my superduty (Crew cab long box) was. They never felt much different than any of my silverados.
