My oldman has a 02 f150 supercrew fx4 witha 5.4 and I have used it a couple times and wasnt impressed. It has also spit 3 plugs between 100k and 160k.
Someone who done spark plugs did bad jobs. If that help you I don't ever use torque wrench on that either. Just tight spark plugs then after that no issues.
That 02 F150 probability have 3.55 in axle. My Superduty had 3.73.
5.4L are Different animal from old engine OHV. U need REV up 3-5K rpm to notice difference.
