I would go with a 4l80e if I were you. Not much money difference at this point, and really strong. I also remember you talking about more power, so it will be ready for that down the road.
I hope to turbo my 5.3 down the road and one of my concerns is if I will be able to get my 4l60e to hold up to ~ 600hp...... I am not real excited about re-doing my driveshafts, t-case etc....
