Rented a 2012 Dodge Ram from enterprise. $80.

Gas was cheaper down south, but never paid over $3.40 a gallon. As low as $3.03 in TN.
avg of 19 mpg on the way down with empty trailer, and 17.5-18.5 on the way back with the tub.

Spent about $250 in gas. + rental. Brought my own food, stayed in a super 8 motel for $50. So, about $400 into the trip all said and done. Pretty much what I expected. I was satisfied, and it was something cool to do myself.

Now someone's going to tell me I could've shipped it for less, which isn't true.
If that kind of fight starts lol I'll just stop replying again. I saved around $350 vs shipping it, plus, as I said, I got to take a solo roadtrip, which I'd never done before.

So all in all, I think it was worth it. Apparently, the majority of those reading this thread are moneybags, and $350 wouldn't be worth it to them. It was to me though, especially when combined with the experience I gained, which is all that matters at the end of the day.
I know, and have met many people from this site... None of which are moneybags.
