The Wages of Sin is Death But the gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ. The 'list' is still there, it's just voided by Christ's Sacrifice.
I would say that most Christians WANT to live a life that is glorifying to God because of the gratitude they feel towards what Christ did. They don't do it out of fear. Maybe I should say, they SHOULDN'T want to do it out of fear.
