Motorcraft is the only way to go. The I rarely break off a plug that has been replaced before. The plugs have been updated tons of times to their current level. Put a SMALL amount of anti seize on the lower part (not the threads) before you install them.

I have fixed random mis-fire codes by replacing aftermarket plugs in these motors with OE plugs.
