Hey now I run the hell outta my D30 on 33s and have only broke one shaft! Actually, the u-joint broke causing the ear to get knocked off. If I had these welded on the ears, I feel it would have saved the shaft. But I ended up getting chromos. Little bit more than this AA kit, BUT it is what it is Lol. So far so good. Haven't had any problems yet. I do however see the advantage of this kit.

Cam yea I can see how heating and cooling the ears over and over may weaken them, but then think. Your adding that plate on the ears so that brings the strength back plus some. This seems like a good kit for a stock shaft beef up for a fairly cheap price.
