Yep, Also different brands have different weight ratings, Brand, size, model are all going to be factors. You can find LRD tires that are rated for more weight than a LRE. Personaly I would say read some reviews and pick out a tire and tread that you like, LRD or E. Another thing to consider is that if your truck calls for a LRD, and you want to run a LRE, You will most likely have to run the LRE at 80psi to take advantage of the weight rating, your factory rims might not be able to handle that.
