I looked at it today and in order to run a longer pitman arm I have to cut and box the frame or space the box off the frame like the xj guys do. Haven't decided which way would be best but a spacer is a lot easier as I would have to weld by sound only. Once I figure that out I have to mount one of the hydro assist rams I picked up over the summer.
Tonight I went through and nutted and bolted the entire rig. I found a lot of loose bolts
even though I just tighten everything in the summer! Thankfully all of my bolts are cotter keyed. I also found a really bad upper bj on the drivers side.
Today was also the first time I've tightened my Ballistic Joints (just over a year old). Half of a turn on one and a quarter turn on the other. I think that's pretty impressive considering there's only two of them for the entire front end.
