Is the axleshaft broken or just the u-joint gone bad ??

More info might help more than just bump's

Just sayin
The P.O. told me the motor was rebuilt, and there is or was some sort of tag from an engine shop inside the engine bay saying it had been, but i am not going to deny or confirm this to be true, as i have no solid evidence like a receipt.

It has some slight lifter noise, like most ranger engines from that era do.
The heat is great, Almost too hot to handle, however some people seem to like that.

The front passenger side inner axle shaft is broken where it wraps around the u-joint cap. The axle is a dana 28, not a 35.

The tires have tread, but not much left, like maybe 20-15%

I also feel that i should mention that the vehicle has managed to develop a slight vibration the last day i drove it to work.

If I don't sell it soon, i'm just going to take it to the junkyard.
