I think total retraction from world organizations would not be a good thing. The world is so small now, and technology is so huge, you have to be an international player to some extent.
I suppose that being a part of the UN could be a good thing to use our influence towards unfriendly nations. But I do not see why they would impose UN laws to supercide our constitution and laws of this country.
With us being a super power of the world and we do not use the might and power of our military to take over nations but only to act as a mediator, then why would we need the UN to tell us what to do?
