Thanks alot guys. The main reason i planned on making one was due to the simplicity and the extreme price of buying one. After much research I've found that SJR is the best place to get older subaru parts from but I can't afford one so building one is the next best thing. Id love to go bigger but my 225,xxx mile 1.8l H4 is gettin a bit tired and not having low lock takes a tole on her when wheeling. I now run a set of 195/65r15s and i bog down alot unless I'm in slick mud. Still a BLAST though. I never thought It'd be as fun as it is. Before this i ran s10's and a built cherokee but this is a totally different feeling. If youve never wheeled one you def should. There is a good local bog in a few weeks and I plan on giving the ole Subie a run or 5. Ill take some pics and be sure to post em up. How does a snorkel sound on there for my next add on?
