I don't know how tall you are but I'm 6'1" 230lbs and the willys and cj5 I had were a bit too tight for me... After 1/2 hr driving I was ready to be done. Have you looked into the Metalcloak line for the cj? The newer overline fenders look pretty slick on cj's/tj's and dont wreck the lines of the jeep.... with my 5.3,d44/8.8 and 33tires my jeep is 100% fun..... & fast... wife can get in + its easy to buckle in the 5yr.

With my 37's the jeep looks cool.... I need to pick my 5'3" wife up and set her inside. PITA to buckle the kid and with 4"lift and 600#'s of tires/rims even with 4 disk brakes, I still only feel safe going 65mph... drives fine but I always worry about some1 pulling out.

If I were you I would keep it on 33's and under a 2-3" lift... Don't hack the body up and get carried away. Your builds are always well thought out and your craftsmanship is top notch... I wish I was as motivated as you! I tig weld tool steel and just cant find the motivation to take on projects as large as yours... Subscribed!!!
