2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab (Red)
360 5.9L
4 wheel drive
101,000 miles
Engine oil changed every 3,000
Trans fluid changed and flushed in april.
Brand new exhaust from the y pipe back. 3" pipe to a flow master 40 series muffler with dual 2.5" out.
Both axles (Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear) just changed to royal purple fluids.
New u joints on rear drive shaft
New heater core

The truck drives great. Averages between 10 and 12 mpg. The truck cruises down the road and express way great (70 no issues). This truck is a real head turner. I purchased it from long island New York so it has not been exposed to the salt.

I am sure I am forgetting something.

Now for the bad.

Ac needs charging. Never recharged after heater core.
Cracked dash....normal dodge crack.
Cracked windshield (crack has been there since I bought it and not moved)
Drivers side rear door latch need repair.
Normal dodge seat wear on drivers side
Dings and dent on body
Tail gate inside beat up. I have a can of bed liner spray.
Trans stays in 2nd gear (limp mode). This happened 7-20 on the way home from work. The trans has had no other performance issues. I do not have the time to fix it and my trans guy is tied up for the net month to diagnose it with his scanner. It is believed to be something minor pressure or sensor related. I have to have a vehicle for work so I cant wait to have the repairs done. Price reflects this repair.

Truck is worth 8K+ all day long. I am asking $6,000 to move quickly.

Transmission update.
I had the transmission check out and the conclusion was the trans valve is sticking. All pressures are fine. I added a fluid than frees sticking valves (lubegaurd). I have driven the truck about 20 miles and it is shifting much better. Give the additive some more time to do its thing and it should be fine.
