Looking at the brake caliper, which we have no problem replacing, it looks as if there is an integral bracket that is part of the caliper that encircles the entire axle shaft and sits behind the front brake rotor. So in other words, it looks like the caliper gets slid on the axel shaft first, then the front brake rotor slides on the axel shaft etc. Looks to be an all one-piece deal with the caliper as opposed to two separate parts. Also, it is/was painted red if that makes any difference for identification. There was a casting number of 620158L c1 on the caliper, and there was some other number that was unreadable.
Will try to get pic's later on today. We should have tried to get pics last night when tires were off, but it was 11:00PM when we were working on this.
