I had one that had a two inch cut in it and they had to put a fist size hole and patch area in it. That cost 50. I had one with a slice all the way around but not all the way though anywhere and it cost 80 to fix. I think it depends on the time it takes to cut, fill, smooth. No matter what it's cheaper than a 400 tire.
