Voting for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil. Either way you will get burned. So which is worse 4 years of 100% evil or 8 years of 80% evil ?
The first two choices you list above are both a better option. When the Republican party finally realizes that it can't win with a center-left big government candidate, then there is a very small possibility that they will field a real [r]epublican candidate and support him/her. Otherwise they will go the way of the whig party. Either way problem solved. The vacuum will be filled.
My choice is Paul. I will vote for him in the R' column or I will write him in. If there is no way to do that, then I will leave it blank. There is no other choice for anyone who values liberty.
