I've only owned two 73-77 trucks. Both were parts trucks, but originally FE motor manual trans f-250 models. Both had 4.10. I've read that 73-77 trucks used a wider array of gear ratios, but for 78-79 I've only seen the two. I'm not saying thats all they used, but the "norm" those two years seems to be manual - 4.10 Automatic - 3.54.
