It is lasered in. They look identical but I wonder if there any differences I have not noticed like stall or anything else possible.

The other does have numbers etched into it also which look like 3-85-23-94 or 96-724

I think the two numbers before the last three might indicate year, so the first one I identified would be the correct one from '99.

Does that seem right?
