Picture the bottom of a beerkeg style intake. This bolts to the bottom of it to seal it from the air intake area. This link is the middle level fix I suggested. It's a thicker billet plate (overpriced, but much better than the stock piece). The stock piece is probably 1/4 as thick as this plate. The stock piece gives too much and lets the gasket blow out. The Mopar intake doesn't have the plenum like this. It's all one solid piece, so it would never leak. Just up to you how much you want to spend fixing it.
