Default heat issue

i have an 1985 chevy k2500 with a small block 350... im only getting luke warm air... blend door is workin properly.. heater core is new so it is not plugged up...i do have alarge radiator in it due to it being a plow truck.. have the preasure hose comin off the intake manifold and the return to the radiator.. should i move the return to the water pump for better flow? truck is runnin 190 all day... 215 if io put plow all the way up... thoughts????
