No experience with a Bubba Rope, but I have used the ARB recovery strap some and I carry a Master Pull rope in my kit, both KE style straps like the Bubba rope. Both have a lot more stretch than a TSC yellow tow strap, but I don't have numbers to back up the comparison. The ARB seemed a little less stretchy than the MP but we didn't use them side-by-side for comparison. Both work well. I really like my MP rope at the dunes, the stretchiness is a great tool lets you gently roll into it without a lot of speed. I have used it some on the trails but I get the old TSC yellow strap out in the mud. Sometimes a good sharp tug with a tighter strap is the ticket too, so I don't know if the KE style ropes are right for every situation.
