Converter seal. I am going to a manual in my Sploder because of that damn trans. I've built and wheeled 3 rigs with the A4LD and guess what LD mean LIGHT DUTY. I honestly cannot make one survive under how I wheel. I can cool them like crazy but Kaboom! every time. So my 2 cents is if you're gonna wheel it try and swap a manual. If you are nice the A4 can last. If you rebuild it/replace the seal make sure you align the pump when installing the bushing for the converter. Also stake the bushing and seal in place. I've seen them things come in with the seal hanging on the converter. While you are at it make sure the flexplate spacer isn't worn out or cracked. Haha and that's about all there is :) no problem.
