Actually Yukon uses 8620 alloy for the internals and the case of their Grizzly Locker, which operates in a similar manner to the Detroit Locker. And all Yukon lockers are assembled in the USA.

Yukon also has a one year $2000 collateral damage warranty that covers replacement of the unit, along with any collaterally damaged parts and associated labor. And you can buy a lifetime warranty on any Yukon locker for $59.

We sell Detroits too, and I have used TruTracs in my Jeeps...but if I were going to put a mechanical locker in my rig it would definitely be the Yukon. Just my opinion tho...
