How quickly is this happening? Those Ford lockouts are famous for sticking. Could it be a Sharp edge "sawing" at the strap? Spool limited or open? I could look

can't find any good stubs.
If it is the engagement ring would it act like its in 2 while sitting still? I donít remember from when I had the case apart, but Iím sure its worn with all the miles on it.
