OK fab guys, I need some creative ideas. My wife does photography from our home, and she has 10's and 10's of rolled up backdrops, anywhere from 5 feet to 8 feet wide. Some backdrops are paper, some are vinyl, and some are cloth.
I've been trying to figure out a better method to store and pull easily the right backdrops for her shoots withou having crumpled paper, bent vinyl, etc. I noticed this morning some larger blueprint hanging clamps at the office, and that got me thinking a bit more. The widest ones I can find are 42" and expensive!
I've thought of just rolling the ends onto a length of PVC and clamping in a few spots for each, but I'm looking at other cleaner ideas. Also wondering what kind of racking method would allow for easy retrieval of a particular backdrop without having to take every one down.
