Default 2000 Sierra Problems

i recently purchased a 2000 Sierra 1500 4.8 regular cab 4x4, it has a zone 4-6inch lift with 33s. When driving around 40-45 mph the engine seems to flutter is the best i can describe it, i can watch the rpms and they seem to flutter back and forth between 1200 and 1400, it only seems to happen when going 40-45, i asked the guy at the auto parts store and he said by the sounds of it, it sounds like it is trying to shift into overdrive? Also when i try to accelerate around 45 mph its like the engine bogs down for a couple of seconds, then i have to almost floor it to even accelerate. It idles around 500 to 600, and the abs light comes on and off all the time, mostly on but goes off here and there, it still drives and breaks fine, i was thinking maybe a ground wire? but wasnt sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
